Booking Policy

To help us arrange your service correctly, please follow these booking requirements:

  • Bookings should be submitted through Cheepla’s official website or another communication channel officially recognized by Cheepla.
  • Provide accurate contact details and complete device information, including the brand, model, and reported fault.
  • A booking request is not a confirmed appointment. Your appointment is confirmed only when Cheepla sends you an official confirmation.
  • Please be available at the agreed time for your appointment, device collection, or delivery.
  • Where possible, cancellation or rescheduling requests should be submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
  • Cheepla may need to reschedule due to emergencies, technician availability, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable.
Booking reminder: Please wait for confirmation from Cheepla before making arrangements based on a requested appointment time.
02

Service Policy

We aim to provide careful and professional repair services. The following conditions apply:

  • Where appropriate, a device will be assessed or diagnosed before repair work begins.
  • We aim to use suitable, quality parts. Part type and availability depend on the device and the agreed repair.
  • Repair costs and estimated completion times depend on the device, reported fault, parts availability, and complexity of the work.
  • If diagnosis reveals additional faults or costs, we will explain the findings and seek your approval before carrying out additional work, where reasonably practicable.
  • Customers should back up important files and personal information before handing over a device.
  • Pre-existing, concealed, or previously undisclosed faults may affect the repair process, cost, or outcome.
Device condition: Some problems may only become apparent during diagnosis or repair. We will communicate relevant findings and discuss available next steps with you.
03

Payment Policy

Payment arrangements will be communicated when you request or approve a service.

  • Depending on the service and agreed terms, payment may be required before service, after service, or at another agreed stage.
  • Available payment methods may include cash, bank transfer, and supported electronic payment methods.
  • Prices depend on the device, fault, parts required, service type, and complexity of the repair.
  • Additional work or replacement parts may involve extra charges. We will communicate applicable charges and seek your approval before proceeding with additional work, where reasonably practicable.
  • Please retain your receipt, payment confirmation, or other transaction record for reference.
04

Warranty Policy

Eligible repairs may carry a limited warranty of 30 to 90 days, depending on the service performed and the warranty terms communicated to you.

  • The applicable warranty period and coverage will be stated on your receipt, repair record, or other service documentation.
  • Warranty coverage generally applies to the specific repair or service fault identified in the applicable warranty record.
  • Physical damage, liquid or water damage, misuse, accidents, and unrelated faults are not covered unless expressly included in the applicable warranty terms or required by law.
  • Unauthorized tampering or repairs after the original service may affect coverage where they cause or contribute to the reported fault.
  • This policy does not remove any customer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Keep your repair record: Your receipt or service documentation helps us verify the repair date, work performed, and warranty coverage that applies.
05

Pickup & Delivery

Where pickup and delivery services are available for your location, the following conditions apply:

  • We will take reasonable care when handling devices during collection, transportation, and delivery.
  • Customers should back up important data before handing over their devices.
  • Pickup and delivery charges depend on the service and destination. Applicable fees will be communicated before the service is confirmed.
  • Please provide an accurate address, useful directions, and active contact details.
  • You or another person authorized by you should be available to hand over or receive the device at the agreed time.
  • Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, parts availability, technical issues, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will provide updates where reasonably possible.
06

Customer Conduct

We aim to maintain a respectful and professional environment for customers, technicians, delivery personnel, and support staff.

  • Provide honest, accurate, and complete information about your device and the reported problem.
  • Communicate respectfully with Cheepla staff, repair professionals, and delivery personnel.
  • Do not submit stolen devices, knowingly provide false information, or request unlawful services.
  • Follow reasonable safety and service instructions during appointments, collection, and delivery.

Cheepla may decline, suspend, or cancel a booking where reasonably necessary to address safety concerns, suspected unlawful activity, harassment, or serious misuse of our services, subject to applicable law.

07

Data & Privacy Policy

We handle customer information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.

  • We take reasonable steps to protect personal information entrusted to us.
  • Where necessary, customer information may be shared with relevant service providers or repair professionals to fulfil a booking, provide a repair, process a payment, arrange delivery, or meet a legal obligation.
  • We do not sell customers’ personal information.
  • Customers are responsible for backing up important data before handing over a device for repair.
Before handing over your device: Back up important files, photos, contacts, and other information. Where possible, remove sensitive information or sign out of accounts, provided this will not prevent the agreed diagnostic or repair work.
08

Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the service or product, the stage of the transaction, the agreed terms, and applicable consumer protection law.

  • Where repair work has started, charges for work already performed and costs properly incurred may not be refundable, subject to the agreed terms and applicable law.
  • If Cheepla cannot complete an agreed service, we will review the circumstances and consider an appropriate refund or other resolution in accordance with the agreed terms and applicable law.
  • Refunds, returns, or exchanges for gadget and accessory purchases are handled under the applicable product terms and relevant consumer protection requirements.
  • Where a refund is approved, it will be processed using the applicable payment arrangements. The time taken may depend on the payment provider.
Important: Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude a refund, remedy, or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

For help with an order or refund request, please contact our support team.

09

Device Collection Policy

Customers should collect repaired devices within the collection period agreed with Cheepla and follow the collection instructions provided.

  • Where contact details are available, we will notify customers when a device is ready for collection or delivery.
  • Please arrange collection within the agreed period and contact us promptly if you need additional time.
  • Reasonable verification, such as proof of identity, booking details, a receipt, or another suitable record, may be required before a device is released.
  • If a device remains uncollected for an extended period, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer and arrange collection.

Any applicable storage charges, extended holding periods, or steps relating to long-unclaimed devices should be communicated in advance and handled in accordance with applicable law.

10

Risk & Liability Policy

Electronic devices may have existing faults, weakened components, liquid damage, or other conditions that can make diagnosis and repair more complicated.

  • Repair work may involve risks associated with the device’s construction, condition, or existing faults.
  • If a material risk becomes apparent before work proceeds, we will explain it and discuss available options with you where reasonably practicable.
  • Cheepla is not responsible for faults or damage caused by severe pre-existing conditions or unrelated problems, except where responsibility arises under applicable law or from Cheepla’s own breach or negligence.
  • Customers should back up their data before service. We cannot guarantee that data will remain intact during diagnosis or repair.
Fair and transparent service: Nothing in this section excludes or limits responsibility where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
11

Communication Policy

Clear communication helps us manage bookings and keep customers informed throughout the repair process.

  • We will provide relevant booking, repair, payment, pickup, or delivery updates through available official communication channels.
  • Customers should ensure their phone number and email address are accurate and active.
  • Please respond to requests for information or approval that may affect repair progress, costs, or completion time.
  • If your contact details change, please inform us as soon as possible.

The frequency and timing of updates may depend on the service, the availability of diagnostic information, and the communication channels available.

12

Warranty Claim Policy

If you believe a fault is covered by the warranty for your repair, contact Cheepla within the warranty period stated on your receipt or repair record.

01

Contact support.
Explain the problem and provide your booking or repair reference, if available.

02

Provide proof of repair.
Share your receipt, repair record, or other reasonable evidence of the original service.

03

Make the device available for assessment.
We may need to inspect the device to determine whether the reported fault falls within the applicable warranty.

Please make the device available in a condition that allows the original repair and reported fault to be assessed. New damage, unrelated faults, or unauthorized tampering may affect coverage where relevant to the claim.

We will review warranty claims according to the applicable warranty terms and relevant legal requirements.
