Vendor Terms & Conditions
These terms explain the standards, responsibilities and safeguards that apply when you sell through the Cheepla Marketplace. Please read them carefully before applying; by applying, you confirm that you understand and agree to follow the marketplace rules.
Account & Eligibility
You must maintain an accurate Cheepla account and provide truthful information. Cheepla may approve, suspend or terminate vendor access where required for marketplace safety, compliance or misuse.
Products & Authenticity
Vendors are responsible for ensuring that listed products are genuine, accurately described, legally saleable and available for fulfilment. Counterfeit, stolen, unsafe or otherwise prohibited products are not permitted.
Orders & Fulfilment
Vendors must maintain accurate stock, process orders promptly and provide customers with truthful product and fulfilment information. Repeated failure to fulfil orders may result in restrictions or suspension.
Pricing & Commission
For eligible physical-product orders, Cheepla calculates commission on each vendor’s product subtotal after item-level discounts and refunds, excluding shipping and tax: ₦3,000–₦99,999 attracts 10%; ₦100,000–₦1,000,000 attracts 7%; and amounts above ₦1,000,000 attract 5%. No rate has been approved for subtotals below ₦3,000; those amounts are held as policy-pending and are not included in withdrawable earnings until Cheepla publishes the applicable rate. Any recorded vendor-specific written rate takes precedence.
Customer Payments
Customer payments are collected through the existing Cheepla WooCommerce checkout and configured payment gateway. Vendors do not create a separate checkout or payment system.
Returns, Refunds & Disputes
Vendors must cooperate with Cheepla on customer complaints, cancellations, returns and refunds according to the applicable marketplace policy. Amounts attributable to refunds may reduce vendor earnings.
Intellectual Property
You must have the right to use product names, images, descriptions, trademarks and other materials you upload. You must not infringe another party’s rights.
Suspension & Termination
Cheepla may suspend or remove vendor access for fraud, prohibited products, repeated customer complaints, policy violations, non-fulfilment or other legitimate marketplace-safety reasons.
Changes
Cheepla may update marketplace policies as the service evolves. Material commercial changes should be communicated through the site or other appropriate notice.
